How To Make Honey Ginger Chicken

This Honey Ginger Chicken goes really well with plain white rice. To maximize time, I like to start my rice right before I begin cooking the chicken. This ensures the rice and chicken are finished at the same time.

STEP 1

Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Toss the chicken in the cornstarch and place a skillet over medium high heat. Once the skillet is hot add in the olive oil.

STEP 2

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and fully cooked. Turn the heat down to medium.

STEP 3

Now add the butter to the skillet. Once the butter is melted add in the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.

STEP 4

Add the soy sauce and honey to the skillet, stir well. Cook for 1 minute. Serve over rice and garnish with red pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
