You will not believe how easy this Honey Ginger Chicken is to make. It's ready in just 25 minutes and requires only a few ingredients, making it an ideal weeknight dinner or meal prep recipe.
1 ½poundschicken breastscut into bite sized pieces
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonpepper
¼cupcornstarch
3tablespoonsolive oilor any neutral tasting oil
3tablespoonsbutter
4clovesgarlicminced

3 ½tablespoonssoy sauce
4tablespoonshoney
as neededred pepper flakesoptional

I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
Instructions
Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Then, toss the chicken in cornstarch to fully coat it.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the olive oil and begin cooking the chicken until browned and fully cooked. Reduce the heat to medium.
Add the butter to the pan, once melted add in the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in the soy sauce and honey. Mix well.
Cook for one minute then serve over white rice and garnish with red pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
