- Use a food processor to make light work of crushing the graham crackers. Don't have a food processor? No worries, use a rolling pin.
- If using store-bought graham cracker crumbs you will need about 1 ½ cups of crumbs.
- Press the crumbs up against the sides first, then across the bottom.
- The amount of crust you need may vary depending on how thick you like your graham cracker crust to be.

Graham Cracker Crust Recipe
Equipment
- food processor optional
- 1 9-inch pie dish
Ingredients
- 12 graham cracker sheets or 1 ½ cups of graham cracker crumbs
- 3 ounces unsalted butter melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar or brown sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. In the bowl of a food processor add the graham crackers and pulse until you have crumbs.
- Stir in the sugar, salt and melted butter until evenly combined.
- Add the graham cracker mixture to a 9-inch pie dish and spread it into an even layer. Press the crumbs up the sides first, then across the bottom, using the bottom of a measuring cup to pack it down firmly and evenly.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Cool before filling.
