How To Make Pulled Pork Sliders

These barbecue pulled pork sliders are perfect for your next backyard party or potluck!

STEP 1

Prepare the pulled pork using my Dutch Oven Pulled Pork recipe or warm up your favorite pulled pork in a skillet over medium heat. (If using your own pulled pork, you may also need barbecue sauce.)

STEP 2

Make the spicy coleslaw by combining shredded cabbage, thinly sliced red onions, chopped jalapeños, mayo, sugar, apple cider vinegar, cilantro, lime juice, salt, pepper, and chipotle powder in a large bowl. Mix well and adjust seasonings to taste.

STEP 3

Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and lightly butter the cut sides. Toast in a skillet or under the broiler until golden brown.

STEP 4

Assemble the sliders by layering pork on the bottom half of each roll, a drizzle of barbecue sauce if desired, followed by crispy bacon and a generous scoop of spicy coleslaw. Top with the other half of the roll and serve immediately!

💡Expert Tips

  • Make Ahead - The pulled pork can be made a day in advance and reheated for easy assembly.
  • Adjust the Spice - Add extra jalapeños or chipotle powder to the coleslaw for more heat or leave them out if you prefer a milder coleslaw.
  • Crispy Rolls - Toasting the Hawaiian rolls adds great texture and prevents them from getting soggy.
  • Extra Sauce - If you love saucy sliders, drizzle a little extra barbecue sauce over the pork before adding the coleslaw.
