I’ve been making chicken salad for years, and this version is hands-down my favorite. My family loves the sweet and savory contrast, and I love how simple it is to put together. It’s also a great recipe for meal prep—I make a big batch at the beginning of the week and enjoy it for quick lunches throughout the week.

Key Ingredients & Substitutions
- Dijon Mustard – Adds a slightly tangy flavor that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the grapes.
- Grapes – Red grapes are my favorite for their sweetness and color, but green grapes or even chopped apples can be used.
- Pecans – Toasting them enhances their flavor. If you don’t have pecans, walnuts, almonds, or even pine nuts will work beautifully.
- Cooked Chicken – Rotisserie chicken is a great shortcut, but you can also use poached, baked, or grilled chicken.
