These Banana Nut Overnight Oats are my go-to overnight oats recipe. Packed full of cinnamon, toasted pecans and bananas, what's not to love about that combination? I love making overnight oats for a quick and nutritious breakfast or snack.
Overnight oats are easily customizable and extremely easy to make. My oldest son loves helping me come up with flavors options. He tends to try to add chocolate to all of them. I use a basic overnight oats recipe and add in different fruits, nuts or nut butters. I have shared a post about my basic recipe and a few flavor combinations that are popular in my house. I'll link it below.
Best way to eat Overnight Oats?
Overnight Oats are great eaten cold or warmed up.
How long do they last?
You can keep Overnight Oats in the refrigerator for about 4 days.
Do Overnight Oats have to be made the night before?
Yes, and no. You have to give the oats time to soak up the moisture from the milk and yogurt to soften them. That is why they are typically made the night before so that they are ready for breakfast in the morning. You can make them in the morning and check on the texture of the oats after about 6 hours.
