Pull-Apart Pigs in a Blanket

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Pull-Apart Pigs in a Blanket are the ultimate party appetizer! Made with crescent roll sheets and jalapeño cheddar smoked sausages, they're an easy and crowd-pleasing party appetizer.

This pull apart pigs in a blanket recipe is so fun to make and super easy to customize. I love using the crescent roll sheets, they make it so much easier to cut the strips to roll the sausages in.

They're perfect with classic mustard, but we also love dipping them in ranch, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.

Key Ingredients & Substitutions

  • Jalapeño Cheddar Smoked Sausage Links - Other types of smoke sausage links can also be used.
  • Crescent Roll Sheets - I recommend the sheets since they're easier to cut evenly, but the crescent rolls can be substituted. Just pinch the perforated lines together.

How To Make Pull Apart Pigs in a Blanket

The full recipe is in the recipe card below!

Just two ingredients and a little time is all you need to make this delicious pull apart pigs in a blanket recipe. Here's how I do it:

Slice the sausage links crosswise into thirds so you have 24 bite sized pieces.

Unroll the crescent dough. Cut each sheet in half lengthwise to make two long strips. Then cut each long strip crosswise into 6 pieces. You will end up with 24 pieces of dough.

Wrap the dough around the sausage so the ends meet and overlap slightly. Stand each one upright in the pan, leaving a little space between each piece.

Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool for a few minutes, then release the springform pan ring. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!

Make Ahead & Storage Tips

  • To make ahead - Assemble, cover, and refrigerate for a few hours before baking. A few extra minutes may need to be added to the bake time.
  • Storing - Leftovers keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

This quick and easy pull apart pigs in a blanket appetizer recipe is always a hit at our house, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
