Key Ingredients & Substitutions

  • Cream Cheese - Softened to make mixing easy.
  • Sour Cream - Can be substituted with mayo if preferred. Or even half sour cream half mayo.
  • Cheddar Cheese - Freshly shredded with the largest hole on your grater works best. Or substitute with your favorite cheese blend.
  • Bacon - Thick, smoky bacon adds the best flavor. Store-bought bacon bits can be substituted.
  • Green Onions - For fantastic flavor!
  • Ranch Seasoning Mix - I like using the buttermilk one for this recipe.

Tips for Million Dollar Dip

  • Serve immediately after mixing for the creamiest, easiest to dip texture.
  • Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes to slightly firm up the dip, making it more spreadable.
  • If stored overnight, the dip becomes more like a cheese ball and is perfect for spreading or even stuffing mini peppers.
  • Shred your own cheese for a creamier texture.
  • Serve it with crackers, regular potato chips like plain ruffles and veggie sticks. It's great with carrots, cucumbers and bell peppers!
  • For a spicy dip stir in diced jalapeños!

This Million Dollar Dip recipe is always a hit at gatherings, and I hope it becomes a favorite in your home too!
