My Latest Videos
I made a few changes to this Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars recipe to improve the texture and make the process even easier. No need to cream butter and sugar together. Just melt, mix and bake! All you need is one bowl and a few minutes to stir it all together.
🥣 Key Ingredients
The full ingredient list is in the recipe card below.
- Melted Unsalted Butter – Do not use salted butter, it will make the cookie bars too salty.
- Brown Sugar – opt for dark brown sugar here, it will take the rich cookie flavor to the next level. If you only have light brown sugar, no worries!
- Cornstarch – Helps create a tender, soft bar that holds together well.
- Chocolate Chips – Semi-sweet is my go-to, but milk or dark chocolate work too.
