These Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are soft, chewy, and loaded with melty chocolate chips. Made with melted butter and no mixer required, they’re quick to whip up and perfect for sharing!
I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9"x13" baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl whisk together the melted butter, both sugars, eggs and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch and salt.
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir until full combined. Now fold in the chocolate chips.
Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 20–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out with just a few moist crumbs.
