Roasted broccoli is a quick and easy side dish that you can rely on, whether you're short on time or simply looking for something versatile to complement any meal. Its crispy texture and vibrant flavor make it a delightful addition to your dinner plate. Plus, it's packed with nutrients, making it a healthy choice for any occasion.

I enjoy roasting almost any kind of vegetable. The caramelization of the natural sugars in each vegetable brings out a rich, deep flavor that simply cannot be matched by steaming. If you love roasted vegetables give this roasted potatoes recipe a try.

Ingredients

  • Broccoli - Fresh broccoli, not frozen.
  • Oil - Any neutral-tasting oil like olive oil will work.
  • Seasonings/Spices - This recipe uses a mixture of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and pepper flakes.
  • Lemon - Finishing the roasted broccoli with a little lemon zest or lemon juice adds a nice acidity to the dish.
