The BEST Jalapeño Popper Dip recipe! This easy to make dip is make ahead friendly and absolutely delicious. Serve this super cheesy appetizer at your next gameday or Holiday party.
Turning a classic appetizer like Jalapeño Poppers into a creamy dip is such a great way to bring something new and exciting to the table. I love Jalapeño Poppers, they are the one appetizer that I can eat my weight in. Maybe it’s the Texan in me, but anything with jalapeños and bacon is a winner in my book. This dip is the perfect combination of creamy, melted cheese, roasted jalapeños and crispy bacon. Trust me, it is DELICIOUS!
I love making appetizers for parties. A family favorite, that we almost always have at any party is Sausage Balls. But we really love our dips, like this delicious Tex-Mex Dip or this Homemade Bean Dip. You can never go wrong with homemade dips.

This Jalapeño Popper dip is baked, so serving it while it is hot/warm is best. It is still fine after it has cooled to room temperature after baking. If it lasts that long!
What to Serve with Jalapeño Popper Dip
This delicious dip goes well with crackers, crostini and chips. I usually serve it with Ritz Crackers. Little toasted bread pieces (Crostini) are great with creamy dips. It is also really good when served with Tortilla chips and Fritos.
Canned or Fresh Peppers for Jalapeño Popper Dip
Fresh is best! I love the flavor of freshly roasted Jalapeños in this dip. If you choose, you can skip roasting them and just adding them in fresh. Canned (diced) jalapeños can also be used. For the best flavor, I highly recommend roasting the jalapeños first.
Making in Advance
This recipe is super easy to make in advance. You can make this dish up to 3 days in advance if needed. Simply follow the recipe until it needs to be baked. Instead of baking, cover and refrigerate until you are ready to continue the recipe. I recommend setting the dip out 20-30 minutes before baking. Top with freshly cooked bacon and enjoy!
