Goulash

Hearty, delicious and super simple to make. Goulash is a family favorite dish that I grew up eating. This wonderful recipe comes together quickly with just a few staple ingredients. Perfect for an easy weeknight dinner. The pasta is cooked in the pot with all of the other ingredients, making this a one pot dish. Less mess, less clean up. Always a bonus!

Goulash is one of the easiest one-pot dishes to make. Ground beef, veggies and noodles are all combined in the pot to simmer for 20-30 minutes. Then you add in the cheese, which gets all melted and gooey, and it's done.

This is a great dish for the freezer. Double the recipe, portion and freeze. I like to put the portions in freezer bags, spread it out and lay it flat in the freezer so that I can stack them to take up less space. This also helps with faster thawing.

Your leftovers can also be frozen!

These 10 Easy Ground Beef Dinner Recipes are tried and true recipes that I fall back on whenever I am tired and needing to get dinner to my hungry kiddos fast, while sticking to scratch made food.

What You Need

Ground beef- you can also use ground pork, chicken or italian sausage

Macaroni noodles- any small noodle will work

Water

Tomato Sauce- the bulk of the sauce

Diced Tomatoes- Petite diced tomatoes are great in this dish

Diced onions- for flavor

Garlic-fresh, minced. If you do not have fresh garlic, you can use garlic powder to taste.

Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

And a few herbs and spices.

Goulash

Occasionally I will add diced carrots or english peas to the pot as it is cooking. Just to add a little extra vegetable to the dish. Garlic Bread is always a must have with this dish in my house. Everyone likes to soak up the flavorful tomato sauce with the bread. You can also serve it with cornbread or dinner rolls.
