We almost always have overnight oats in our refrigerator and love coming up with new flavor combinations. When it comes to meal prepping, overnight oats are my go-to choice.

Blueberry Overnight Oats Ingredients

  • Old Fashioned Oats– I find that Old Fashioned Oats have a better texture in this recipe. You can use steel cut or instant, but the texture will be different.
  • Yogurt– ANY kind of yogurt can be used when making Overnight Oats. Just keep in mind the sweetness and flavor of the yogurt will affect the entire dish.
  • Almond Milk– or any milk, even water will work.
  • Vanilla Extract– adds flavor, makes the overnight oats taste more like blueberry muffins. If using vanilla yogurt omit the vanilla extract.
  • Chia Seeds-offer nutrients like fiber and Omega 3s. They also help to thicken the Overnight Oats.
  • Honey- for sweetness, unless you are using a sweet yogurt. You may need to adjust the sweetness.
  • Blueberries– Fresh or frozen blueberries.
