For a quick and easy weeknight dinner the whole family will enjoy, try this unbeatable Sheet Pan Sausage and Potatoes recipe. It features perfectly roasted sausage alongside crispy smashed potatoes for a truly delicious pairing.
Preheat an oven to 375° F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Cut the sausage into 3-inch pieces and place in a bowl. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and gently toss to coat.
Mix the remaining olive oil and melted butter together.
Drizzle half of the oil and butter mixture onto the prepared sheet pan. Working with one potato at a time, place it on the sheet pan and gently flatten it with a potato masher or the bottom of a lightly oiled glass. After all the potatoes have been smashed, drizzle with the remaining oil and butter mixture, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Add the sausage to the pan and place in the oven for 35-minutes or until the potatoes are lightly browned and crispy. Enjoy!
