Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ¼ up bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1 ½ teaspoons parsley dried or fresh
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg
I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.

Instructions

  • Mix together all of the ingredients in a bowl. Mixing thoroughly so that all of the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Portion and roll the meat mixture into balls.  You can roll them as big or small as you like.  I tend to go for a medium sized meatball, about 2 tablespoons.  Which yields roughly 25 meatballs.
  • To sauté the meatballs, heat a large pan over medium heat and add in about 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Begin sautéing the meatballs, cooking each one for 2-3 minutes on each side to brown them. If you want to eat them without sauce, you will need to cook them all the way. If you want to simmer them in marinara sauce, just brown them and allow them to finish cooking in the sauce.
  • To bake the meatballs place them on a parchment lined sheet tray and place them in a 375° F oven and cook for about 20 minutes, if you want to finish them in a marinara sauce. Or cook for about 30 minutes if you are wanting to eat them without sauce.  Enjoy!
