I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
Instructions
Whisk together the ketchup, water, mustard, vinegar, sugar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, and all of the spices. Set aside.
In a small saucepan over medium heat drizzle in the olive oil. Add in the onion and garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
Add in the ketchup mixture and stir to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain for a smooth sauce. Enjoy!
