I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the bread out evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Toss well until all the bread pieces are evenly coated. Spread out evenly again.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the bread is dry and crunchy. Enjoy!
Notes
Use day-old bread or bread that’s slightly dried out for the best texture.
Store cooled croutons in an airtight container for up to a week.
Add shredded parmesan cheese for additional yummy flavor!
