Easy Grilled Chicken Marinade Recipe
This Easy Grilled Chicken Marinade is my go-to recipe for the summer! It’s quick to put together and perfect for prepping ahead or tossing together last minute. It really doesn't get much easier than whisking up a few pantry staples, pouring it over chicken, and letting the fridge (or freezer) do the hard work.

4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless ¼ cup olive oil or any neutral tasting oil 2 tablespoons dijon mustard 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon paprika 2 teaspoons dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried thyme 2 teaspoons garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper pinch red pepper flakes optional
I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
In a bowl, whisk together all of the marinade ingredients. Pour into a gallon-sized zip-top bag or a large bowl.
Add the chicken and mix well until it’s fully coated in the marinade. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor.
When ready to cook, remove the chicken from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, if desired.
Grill or bake until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest a few minutes, then enjoy!
Marinate at least 2 hours for the best flavor!
Boneless, skinless chicken thighs are also great in this recipe.
For a great sear always pat marinated meats dry before cooking them!
