This Simple Italian Salad is sure to impress. 1 ½teaspoonsgrated parmesan cheeseplus more for garnishing the finished salads
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoongarlic powder
1-2pinchesred pepper flakes
to tastepepper
¼teaspoonhoneyor sugar
½teaspoonitalian seasoning
Instructions
In a small bowl combine the ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of pepper, ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning and ½ teaspoon garlic powder. Stir well.
Pat the chicken breasts dry and season on both sides with the spice mixture. Grill, pan sear or bake until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from the pan and set on a cutting board to rest for 10 minutes, then cut into strips or dice. Set aside.
In a bowl or glass jar combine all of the Creamy Italian Dressing ingredients. Stir, or shake, well to combine.
Place all of the salad ingredients in a bowl, drizzle with the homemade Creamy Italian Dressing, toss and serve. Garnish with additional grated parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy!
