Pepperoni Pinwheels with puff pastry are perfect for your next party. With minimal ingredients and maximum flavor, these pinwheels are the perfect addition to any gathering or snack lineup!
I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
Instructions
In a small bowl combine the pizza sauce ingredients, stir well to combine.
Lightly flour a work surface and lay out the puff pastry. Unfold the dough and evenly spread ⅓ cup of pizza sauce over the surface.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza sauce, then layer on the pepperoni slices. Roll the pastry tightly into a log, then refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove the pastry from the refrigerator. Using a serrated knife, gently slice the log into ½-inch pieces and place them on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and flaky.
Combine the melted butter with the remaining garlic butter ingredients and mix well to combine.
Brush the warm pinwheels with garlic butter and sprinkle over extra grated parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve with the remaining pizza sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
