How to Cook Quinoa

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1 ¾ cup chicken stock
  • ½-1 teaspoon salt
I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and drain quinoa.
  • Add the rinsed quinoa to a medium saucepan.  Add the chicken stock and salt to the pan and bring to a boil.  Cover, turn the heat to low and cook for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, remove the pan from the heat and let the quinoa sit, covered, for 10 minutes.  Uncover and fluff.  Enjoy!
