These festive Christmas M&M Sprinkle Cookies are perfect for holiday cookie trays, Christmas parties or Santa's cookie plate. This cookie dough is loaded with red and green M&Ms, sprinkles and two different types of chocolate chips!
I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
Instructions
Preheat an oven to 350° F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In the bowl of a mixer cream together the butter and both sugars. Mix for approximately 6 minutes. The mixture should be lighter in color and fluffy.
Add in the egg yolks, one at a time. Mixing well between additions. Mix in the vanilla extract until well combined.
In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, M&Ms, sprinkles and both chocolate chips.
Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and combine just until no white streaks remain.
Scoop out onto prepared baking sheets (1 ounce scoop or 2 rounded tablespoons) and bake for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!
Notes
For the perfect size, use a 1-ounce portion scoop or 2 rounded tablespoons for the cookies. If you want to make smaller cookies just use 1 rounded tablespoon per cookie.
