Cheesy Cauliflower Tots make a fantastic low-carb side dish that even the kiddos will love. With just 7 simple ingredients, these delicious cauliflower tots come together quickly.
I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
Instructions
In a large sauté pan over medium heat drizzle in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the riced cauliflower to the pan and cook (stirring occasionally) for approximately 8 minutes, or until tender and no moisture remains.
In a large bowl whisk the egg, salt and garlic powder together. Stir in both cheeses and then the cauliflower. Stir well to combine.
Scoop onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Shape each tot by gently flattening them out.
In a large skillet add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and begin cooking the tots. Cook each tot for 3-4 minutes on each side or until browned and crispy.
Add more oil as needed to cook all of the tots. Place finished tots on a paper towel lined plate while cooking the remaining tots. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
