Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket are created using just two ingredients: crescent dough and breakfast sausage links. They're ideal for school mornings, brunches, and can be easily frozen for later use.
I always use Kosher salt in my kitchen! If using table salt, start with half the amount and adjust to taste, as it is much "saltier" by volume.
Instructions
Preheat an oven to 375° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet over medium low heat cook the sausage links until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
Lay the crescent roll dough sheets out on a clean surface and cut into 20 equal pieces.
Place one of the sausage links on the end of one of the precut pieces of dough. Begin wrapping the dough around the sausage until it reaches the other end. Place on prepared baking sheet.
Bake until the crescent roll dough is golden brown, about 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!
Notes
This recipe makes 20 pigs in a blanket. You will need two 12 oz. packages of sausage links. You will have leftover links to enjoy for later.
