It is important to keep the puff pastry chilled to keep its signature flakiness. Prep all of your ingredients before taking the puff pastry out of the refrigerator.
STEP 1
Lightly flour a work surface and lay out the puff pastry. Unfold the dough and evenly spread 1/3 cup of pizza sauce over the surface.
STEP 2
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the pizza sauce, then layer on the pepperoni slices. Roll the pastry tightly into a log, then refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
STEP 3
Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove the pastry from the refrigerator. Slice the log into 1/2-inch pieces and place them on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and flaky.
STEP 4
Brush the warm pinwheels with garlic butter and serve with the remaining pizza sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
