Pepperoni Alfredo Pizza

Pepperoni Alfredo Pizza

Pepperoni Alfredo Pizza has become the most requested pizza in my house. I'm not complaining, the super creamy garlic pizza sauce is so good! Made with just 5 ingredients, and simple to make. The sauce is the best part of this pizza.

The simple topping of pepperonis pairs well with the creamy garlic pizza sauce, and perfect for all the pepperoni lovers (my husband) out there.

I first made plain alfredo pizza years ago while I was pregnant with my oldest son. My husband tried it and fell in love. Needless to say, alfredo pizza became his favorite pizza, with the addition of pepperonis of course.

This sauce is perfect by itself with just cheese, or you can customize it with different toppings. Look at that creamy sauce!

I love putting sliced mushrooms and bacon on it. Grilled chicken is another great topping. My favorite veggie pizza is this Spinach Alfredo Bacon Pizza. The combination of spinach and bacon paired with the alfredo sauce it out of this world!

Alfredo Sauce

A great pizza starts with a great pizza dough. This pizza dough recipe has been my go-to for several years now. What I love about this dough is that it can be baked immediately after topping it for a thinner crust or it can be left to puff up after topping for a thicker crust.

  • Once the dough has proofed, cut into two equal pieces and roll into balls. Cover one dough ball with a cloth while working with the other. Roll out the pizza dough to the desired size and thickness. Then place on a lightly oiled pizza pan or a parchment lined sheet tray.
  • Cover the pizza dough with the cooled creamy garlic pizza sauce. Then top with grated parmesan cheese (optional).
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese all over the sauce. Add shredded parmesan if desired. I do!
  • Then top with pepperonis, as many as you want!
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes at 425° F or until the cheese starts to brown lightly. Enjoy!

Want to make this alfredo pizza even better? Brush it with this delicious herb and butter pizza topping. This herb butter is great brushed on top of any pizza, cheesy bread or just on the crust.

Just mix all of the ingredients together and brush the baked pizza with it.

  • 1 Tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/8 Teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 Teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 Teaspoon grated parmesan cheese
  • Pinch garlic powder
