This is a great dish for the freezer. Double the recipe, portion and freeze. I like to put the portions in freezer bags, spread it out and lay it flat in the freezer so that I can stack them to take up less space. This also helps with faster thawing.

This hearty Goulash recipe is perfect for a quick dinner. It comes together in about 30 minutes. It's also a one pot dish! So, less cleanup! Ground beef, onions and macaroni noodles in a flavorful tomato-based sauce. I also add a little cheese at the end of cooking.
In a large pot over medium heat, add in your ground beef and onion. Cook until the beef is done. Drain off the grease and add the meat back to the pot.
Add in the minced garlic and sauté until the garlic is fragrant.
Add in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, water and all of the herbs and spices.
Bring to boil and add in the noodles. Reduce to a simmer and cover. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Once the noodles are done, turn the heat off, remove the bay leaf and stir in the cheese. Adjust the seasonings if needed. Enjoy!
